On October 8, 2025, the Coronado Junior Woman’s Club hosted the 16th Annual A Taste of Coronado, featuring tastings from the island's top restaurants, bars, and shops. This self-guided event brought together over 800 guests for an evening of socializing, food, and drinks, while supporting local businesses and the community.

A Taste of Coronado has been a beloved tradition for 16 years, and we were excited to highlight the incredible chefs, bartenders, and restaurants in our community during this special event.

The Balboa Park Carousel

This year, A Taste of Coronado is proud to support Forever Balboa Park and their efforts to restore and preserve the historic Balboa Park Carousel—a beloved San Diego icon that has brought joy to generations of children and families. Originally housed in Coronado’s Tent City before finding its forever home in Balboa Park, the carousel reminds us that community legacy isn’t just about buildings—it’s about memories in motion.

As a women-led organization rooted in service, CJWC is passionate about supporting projects that honor the past while investing in the future—especially those that create wonder and access for children. By supporting the Carousel, we’re helping ensure that this magical ride continues to spin joy for the next generation.
